Refund and Cancellation Policy

Britain Direct provides digital services and community features. This policy outlines how we handle cancellations and refunds for our various payment types in accordance with UK consumer law.

1. Britain Direct Membership (£5.99/year)

Membership to Britain Direct is a digital service that provides immediate access to restricted content, community features, and premium tools.

Instant Access Waiver:

By purchasing a Britain Direct membership, you agree that your digital access begins immediately. You acknowledge that you are requesting the service to start before the end of the statutory 14-day cooling-off period and you expressly consent to waive your right to cancel once the service has been accessed or the digital content has been delivered.

Refunds are not generally issued once a membership has been activated, except in cases of proven technical failure preventing access to the service.

2. Donations to Influencers

Donations are voluntary contributions made to support individual influencers or the platform's mission.

  • Donations are non-refundable once processed.
  • Exceptions may be made for duplicate payments caused by technical errors or proven unauthorized (fraudulent) transactions.
  • If you believe a donation was made in error, you must contact support via Telegram @BritainDirect within 48 hours of the transaction.

3. Influencer Supporter Subscriptions

Supporter subscriptions provide ongoing monthly benefits from specific influencers.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future billing.
  • Refunds: We do not provide partial refunds or pro-rated credits for billing periods that have already started. You will continue to have access to supporter benefits until the end of your current paid billing cycle.

4. Technical Errors and Duplicate Payments

If a technical error on our platform results in a duplicate charge, we will refund the duplicate amount in full. Please provide proof of the duplicate transaction when contacting support.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage users to contact us directly to resolve any payment issues.

Abuse Warning:

Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us is considered a breach of our Terms. Any user found to be abusing the chargeback system ("friendly fraud") will have their account immediately and permanently terminated.
